Thusitha plays a leading role mentoring & motivating the team and is the driving force behind the success of the company. He holds a Bachelor’s in Tourism and International Business from UTS Australia and has extensive experience from working abroad and in Sri Lanka. He also holds an MBA, Post Graduate qualification in Archaeology and Heritage Management and a top-scoring National Tourist Guide Lecturer License. His passion for travel, culture, and history drives his commitment to offering unique and memorable experiences to our clients.
Always wearing a smile, Mayumi is a bubbly character in our team. She possesses a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Tourism & Cultural Resource Management and was a management trainee at Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau. She is multi-talented and loves painting and doing ornamental planting during her free time. In addition, she loves to read on Sri Lankan Culture & history while doing occasional quizzes in office with her workmates.
Completing her BSc (HONS) in Business Studies in UK, Aloka returned to Sri Lanka and joined the industry as a tourism professional in 2015. She has handled a diverse range of markets and plays a key role at Magical Isle Holidays in Sales and Operations. She loves being outdoors and encourages the entire team to venture out and expand the knowledge of the destinations and hotels. She loves her food and her favourite part of Sri Lanka are the beautiful beaches.
Gill is very family oriented and the quietest out of the lot. He loves traveling and self-exploring the island with his family. He joined tourism in 2014 and has handled the Kouni UK operations and the Dutch Markets. He currently looks after sales & operations and contributes with his experiences on hidden corners of the island.
Heading the overall operations at Magical Isle Holidays, Himakara plays a pivotal role in business development, branding, social media campaigns and guiding the team. With many years of service to the industry since 2000, he has handled FIT & GIT movements including charter operations. He loves the outdoors and still finds many reasons to go out in search of new products and experiences to enhance the quality of itineraries we offer to our clients.
Having being trained and groomed to the industry by Magical Isle Holidays, Niluka is the live wire doing an overall sales and operational role. She started working with an NGO and then joined us and climbed the ladder to be a team leader in a short span of time. Always with a smile, she loves to spend time with her family and does gardening & flower décors over weekends.
Ishan joined the travel & tourism trade straight from school while getting his qualification in IATA/UFTAA. Being in the industry for nearly 3 decades, the passion for tourism runs in his blood. He is a strong team player and helps troubleshooting and getting them to work as one unit. Being a keen traveller, he has explored the lengths and breaths of Sri Lanka. His love for outdoor and wildlife photography allows him to offer unique insight and experiences to our travellers.
Sanju is a known to be a dynamic and creative person in our team. Her commitment to excellence and her ability to transform ideas into extraordinary travel experiences makes her a vital part in our team. She is currently studying Spanish Language at Aquinas to pursue new markets. Having been in the travel trade since 2014, Sanju loves exploring the hill country. When she is unable to travel, she finds time to play badminton with her friends.
Trained as cabin crew and holding a diploma in Airline Ticketing Academy, Shayala started her career handling outbound travel. With her love for her motherland, it did not take long for Shayala to figure out that her heart was set to handle in-bound. Having travelled since 2011, Shayala is keen to share the exquisiteness of the island she calls home. She loves to spend time with her family, watch movies and travel to hidden spots in Sri Lanka during free times.
Coming from a tourism background, Imalsha was pruned to take-over a sales and operational role at Magical Isle Holidays. She is now an invaluable member handling key accounts of the company. She joined the travel trade straight from school in 2022 and is currently learning German Language at the Goethe Institute. She loves outdoors and whenever she has free time, you will see her on her bicycle riding in the outskirts of Colombo.
A travel enthusiast who has been in the industry since 2004, Hasheema brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. She has travelled extensively throughout the island and is able to tailor make holidays to suit your preference and find the right fit for you. Having been a coordinator for Travelife, Hasheema loves to improve on sustainability initiatives. During her spare time, she loves reading and learning about the rich history of Sri Lanka.
Ryan is a dynamic professional with over a decade of experience in travel and tourism sector. Beginning his career in 2013, Ryan managed the Dutch and Chinese markets while overseeing the transport department gradually handling sports themed tours. With a Master’s in Business Management and his vibrant personality, he quickly advanced into sales and operations handling diverse markets. He is now entrusted to innovative new experiences and driving business and product development.
