Yes, you will need a visa to enter Sri Lanka except for the below mentioned 35 countries from 01st October 2024. In addition, if you intend to visit Sri Lanka on a short visit,you will need to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) prior to arrival.

Sri Lanka is a year-around destination to travel. However, if you're heading to the west and south coasts and hill country, December to March is the best time to visit Sri Lanka. If you plan on seeing the east coast, you'll get the best weather from April / May to September
