Magical Isle Holiday is a destination management company founded in 2010. We specialize in creating experiential, personalised and authentic tailor-made holidays to Sri Lanka.

We are a licensed travel agent registered under the Tourist Board of Sri Lanka. (Registration No TS/TA/1232).

We have extensively traveled throughout Sri Lanka, sourcing new activities, hotel accommodations, and destinations to enhance our expertise in curating itineraries. All accommodations and activities are personally tested and inspected by our team.

Prof. Nimal De Silva

Chairman

Prof. Nimal De Silva, a Chartered Architect with 50 years of professional experience, an Archaeologist, Author, Art Historian, UNESCO Consultant on World Heritage and Consultant for Tourism Development Projects in Ajantha, Ellora and Sikim. He is also Managing Partner DEVECO Architects. In addition he was former Dean and Senior Professor at the University of Moratuwa, former Director of the Postgraduate Institute of Archaeology & Researchof the University of Kelaniya, former Chairman of Urban Development Authority and National Design Centre for Crafts and also the former Director General of the Central Cultural Fund and Cultural Triangle. Professor De Silva was also the President of Sri Lanka Scouts Association and Justice of Peace.

Thusitha De Silva

Managing Director

Thusitha, is the Founder, Managing Director of Magical Isle Holidays and is the visionary leader and driving force behind the success of the company, mentoring and motivating the team and all stakeholders towards the common goal of creating magical experiences to holiday makers. Thusitha is one of the most knowledgeable and dynamic tourism professionals in the country with a wealth of firsthand experience in all aspects of tourism in Sri Lanka. He holds a Bachelor’s in Tourism and International Business from UTS Australia and has extensive experience from studying and working abroad. After returning to Sri Lanka, he worked at Jetwing Travels and Red Dot Tours, earning an MBA, Post Graduate qualification in Archeology and Heritage Management and a top-scoring National Tourist Guide Lecturer License. His passion for travel, culture, and history drives his commitment to offering unique and memorable experiences to clients.
